Who Are We?

To sell or distribute liquor to consumers in South Africa without a retail liquor license is an offence punishable by a term of imprisonment or fine or both. Each province is empowered establish a liquor board/ authority to regulate the sales and distribution of alcoholic beverages within its provincial boundaries. Given that each province has its own legislative and regulatory framework, the intricacies of compiling a compliance liquor license application within these diverse regulatory regimes is quite complex for most aspirant liquor traders.

It is for this reason that Larosa Liquor Licenses Specialists was established in the summer of 2006 to assist customers with the application process for liquor licenses. During past couple years, our team has assisted numerous business people to obtain Liquor Licenses, resulting in their liquor establishments operating legally henceforth. Our success rate is currently at 92.67% and our aim is to achieve 100% success outcomes. We have employed a highly qualified and competent team of Liquor License Specialists to assist our customers.

what we do?
In order to sell or distribute liquor to consumers, you need to apply and acquire liquor license before starting operating. We assist our customers with the liquor licenses application process, from A – Z.
The liquor license so issued may be transferred to any other qualifying person on the passing away of the license holder, or incapacity of the licensee, or the business is sold to someone else. We assist customers with license transfers.
If the license holder is unavailable to discharge his obligations under license conditions or if the licensee is a juristic person, the license holder must appoint a natural person to discharge all obligations under license conditions.
Upon approval, the license holder is not allowed to make any significant changes to the approved structure including addition new or demolition of any existing structure without obtaining prior approval of the relevant liquor board/ authority.
For licenses to remain active, annual renewal fee, payable on the anniversary date of the license or specific date, must be paid to the liquor board/ authority on or before the specified date on the payment remittance slip.
